City Guide Overview:
Lets take our time to explore San Diego on a 45 mile scenic drive, which loops
its way through the city’s charming neighbourhoods and reveals unique attractions and natural wonders along the way!
Itinerary:
Starting out downtown and driving past the Broadway Pier, where we catch a ferry across to Coronado, which has been consistently voted best beach in the U.S. by Dr. Beach. Stop in for a visit to the Hotel del Coronado, a National Historic Landmark.

Get back on the road and drive north along Harbor Drive where we will exit and do a loop of Harbor Island, which affords spectacular views of San Diego Bay, Point Loma, the Coronado Bridge and Downtown San Diego.

Next, it’s back on to Harbor Drive to head west, driving past Spanish Landing Park, taking a loop around Shelter Island, home of many marinas and restaurants, stopping in for some fresh seafood at one of the local dining destinations.

Drive through Mission Beach where we will explore Belmont Park and enjoy an adrenaline-thumping ride on the Giant Dipper, a historical wooden roller coaster built in 1925.

Head North and stop in for lunch at the world famous La Playa Taco Shop in Pacific Beach.

Get back on the road and head towards Mount Soledad Park in La Jolla, climb up the Veterans Memorial to the Cross for one of San Diego’s most soul-stirring views.

Head to La Jolla Caves for swimming, snorkeling with the orange Garibaldi fish and sea cave kayaking.

Get back on the road and head up to the infamous Black Beach for an epic surf day, ending the trip with a sunset picnic on the beach!
